About the Project
It was planned to expand the facility with 40 new turbines, which would then have an annual production of 570 GWh, but the plans for Ytre Vikna II have been postponed indefinitely.

At Dalafjellet, we have constructed a visitor center that is accessible and open for everyone to use.
The visitor center at Ytre Vikna wind park. The building was opened in 2012 and receives approximately 5,000 visitors a year. There is a visitor book on the premises, and we are now on the 10th book.

LOCAL VALUE CREATION in the host municipality
We create opportunities
– together with the municipalities
When we produce renewable energy, we not only contribute to the green transition — we also economically support the local communities we are part of. Host municipalities receive revenue through taxes and fees that they control.
Below you can see actual revenue paid to the host municipality in 2024 from facilities we operate, with fictional examples of how it can be used.
