About Aneo

A Renewable Future Built on 70 Years of Experience

Our Story

The renewable energy group Aneo was created through a collaboration between TrønderEnergi and the investment fund HitecVision. Our team consists of about 300 employees, and our headquarters are located in Trondheim.

The renewable energy company Aneo was formed through a collaboration between the utility company TrønderEnergi and the investment fund HitecVision. We have just over 300 employees, with our headquarters in Trondheim.

Aneo is built on more than 70 years of experience in the development and operation of large power projects. We own and operate nine wind farms in Central Norway, as well as two in Sweden and one in Finland. Despite our modest size, we are actually Norway's second-largest developer of wind energy. We operate more than 200 wind turbines and monitor production 24/7 for optimal operation, efficiency, and safety.

Our starting point is unique. The company is new, flexible, and forward-thinking, while also carrying a proud history and extensive experience in securing Norway with renewable energy for more than 70 years. On top of that, we have financially strong and long-term owners backing us up, capable of turning big ambitions into reality.

Our Approach
