About the Project

The Hundhammerfjellet Wind Farm is located in Nærøysund Municipality.

The planned area covers 1.6 km². The concession was granted in April 2017. The concessioned capacity is 55.5 MW installed capacity. The expected annual production is 211 GWh.

As a recreational initiative, we have built a shelter at Hundhammerfjellet. With easy access via a gravel road, the shelter is a natural stop for an enjoyable hike. Here, you can enjoy views of the coast and mountains—an ideal spot for a break, surrounded by beautiful nature and tranquility.

LOCAL VALUE CREATION in the host municipality

We create opportunities
– together with the municipalities

When we produce renewable energy, we not only contribute to the green transition — we also economically support the local communities we are part of. Host municipalities receive revenue through taxes and fees that they control.

Below you can see actual revenue paid to the host municipality in 2024 from facilities we operate, with fictional examples of how it can be used.
