Bäckhammar wind farm in Kristinehamn municipality is an established and well-managed wind asset in southern Sweden. With 31 turbines and 130 MW, the project strengthens both generation capacity and the geographic balance of Aneo’s Nordic renewable energy initiative.

About the Project
Bäckhammar consists of 31 modern Vestas turbines with an annual production of around 355 GWh. The wind farm has been in operation since 2020 and supplies power to a major international technology company through a long-term power purchase agreement, which continues with Aneo. The acquisition fits naturally into our established operations in Sweden and strengthens our position in price area SE3 – the region with the highest consumption and the largest power deficit. The project represents a solid, responsible investment with potential for further optimization and development.
