This morning, two employees at Roan Wind Farm discovered a possible gas leak in a transformer building connected to the main building at Einarsdalen.

In accordance with our procedures in such events, the building was evacuated and emergency services were notified. Based on the fire department's assessment, a 300-meter safety zone was established. The two employees were examined by medical personnel on site and have been sent for further medical check-up at a medical center. The fire department, police, and ambulance are on site, and the fire department is conducting investigations.

We assume this involves a leak from a battery located in the transformer; investigations will be conducted when the police and fire department deem it safe to resume work at the station and the safety zone is lifted.

Roan Wind Farm is the second largest wind farm in Fosen, where we find some of the best wind resources in Europe. The power plant was the country's largest wind power plant when it was commissioned in 2019.
