Sørmarkfjellet Wind Farm
Last week, Sørmarkfjellet wind farm was closed to access after several vibration alarms had been triggered.
There has been a sudden and unexpected change in weather that has caused particularly heavy icing, which has led to damage in the wind farm. Both internal and external resources have carried out inspections, and both minor and more significant damage has been discovered on several turbines. Turbines with damage to the turbine blades have been temporarily reinforced to prevent further damage, and repairs are now underway on the turbines where needed.
Further investigations will continue in parallel with the repair work currently underway.
Until further notice, we will keep the wind farm closed to access.
