Aneo, through the Unit for Renewable Portfolio and Growth, submitted two notifications to NVE this Monday as part of the Power Boost in Finnmark.
Plans to Develop Wind Farms in Hammerfest
The projects include the Skjøtningberg wind farm in Lebesby and the Kokelv wind farm in Hammerfest. The Skjøtningberg project is a result of Aneo's acquisition of the wind power portfolio from Norsk Miljøkraft Finnmark last December, while the Kokelv project was identified through an internal screening process.
Aiming to Contribute to Government Goals
A dedicated team in the company has worked intensively to meet the deadline on April 22. Moving forward, efforts will continue on project development and maintaining dialogue with all stakeholders for the projects. Head of Wind Project Development, Solveig Ulseth, says it will be exciting to follow the process. – Aneo aims to contribute to the Government's goal of 4.5 TWh of new renewable power in Finnmark being achieved as quickly as possible within responsible frameworks. We have now submitted two strong reports to NVE and look forward to further work.
